Left Port Nolloth this morning the town was cold and misty, I even thought of putting on my rain jacket to stay warm - fortunately not as soon as I went over the mountain It was HOT !! Sun set last night over Port Nolloth A very uneventfull trip just long straight roads ahead and long straight roads behind I promised my wife I would visit Pofadder The NG church in Pofadder If you can give Pofadder a mis, I am dissapointed with it as Johan was with Colenso, I stopped for a cooldrink and immediately had people around me begging and just making me misrable. I am overnighting at Augrabies My welcoming committee I went camera crazy again with the Augrabies Falls but will not bore you with it

DAY 11 It is amazing that the closer to home you get the more boring the road gets. The road today from Augrabies was long and straight. It looks as even humankind has left this area I was not as fortunate as Dave to spot a horse There are hundereds of these ornaments next to the road. I understand that once upon a time they supplied electricity Eventually reached Delareyville where I will be staying over No ways am I camping tonight I am staying at a place called Pigmy Lodge

Looks like we are sadly coming to an end of the episodes.
Methinks the club should give you – besides the one you achieved – an award for an outstanding photo essay of a trip.

DAY 12 My little trip has come to and end. I left Delareyville this morning and got home at around 12h00. Just for interest sake I travelled 6511 km, used 386.8 litres of fuel and my average fuel consumption was 16.8 km/litre. Am quite dissapointed with the fuel consumption but I suppose I had a heavy load and at some times did go a bit fast. Just outside Delareyville I saw this lovely field of sunflowers
