I had the privilidge to ride the ST on the Economy Run. The overall Fuel Consumption was 5.03l / 100km. Not bad at all considering the speeds we travlelled at, Pillion and Luggage. We did over 1000km over the weekend. Its an awesome little "sport" bike. Handles beautifully through the corners. Although the pillion had a few complaints about the high speed. I would have loved riding it alone. Especially on the Lydenburg - Dullstroom road (Newly re-surfaced and no more pot holes) It is one of the few bikes where my feet actually touch the ground - even when the bike is on the centre stand. And those that know me will confirm, it needs to be about three bricks high for that to happen. I think a female rider would also really enjoy the ST, Low, Light and really easy to handle. My bum did not like the seat too much, but I must admit that my reference is the 1150 Adv with a low seat, so I am really spoilt. My length also soes not help in reaching the handle bars. Here is a nice pic on the road between Machado and Lydenburg. PS. There is really lovely Side Stand Base for the 1200Rt and ST available from www.bigcountry.co.za
