I think there is a mistake, can not leave on 27 and be there on 26. I would like to join, where will he be staying in Kimberley?

I believe that Richard will arive late on the afternoon of 27th in Victoria West. Unfortunately those clever German Engineers has not yet developed a device to enable travelling back into time.

I am planning to leave at 05:30 for 06:00 from Atterbury Shell - the usual club ride departure point on Friday 27th April. The route will be via Krugersdorp and Kimberley and some smaller NW province towns. It's a long slog so we will not be making long stops + I will be maintaining legal speed limits (more or less...!). I plan to stop only for fuel or snacks every 100kms or two hours - Iron Butt methodology. We will not be taking a backup trailer.
Please call or SMS me on 076 481 7926 if you plan to join me...

I would like for everybody to meet so that we can discuss the following for this trip: - Participants for Baviaanskloof trip - Participants for ABBG - Consolidation for camp cutlery/stoves/pots/food etc - Confirmation of numbers for camping and B&B at Sannieshof (Braai at R60pp, Breakfast at R40pp, BB in town at R150 pp if not camping). The meeting is to be held at 17:30 on Friday 13 April at Cafe Barcelona, Elardus Park shopping center, Corners of Barnard and Delmas (R50) roads. If you are not able to make the meeting please let me know whether you will be camping/BB at Sannieshof and whether you would join for the Braai and/or Breakfast.
I need to let Jannie of Sannieshof know by Saturday the numbers to prepare for. Please help to ensure that they can do their preparations by giving your accommodation and meal info before Friday 13 April if you are participating.

Having learned how to work my Mapsource software on the laptop ;D I have routed the trip down to avoid tollroads via Vereenigiing, Parys, Kroonstad, Bloemfontein, Petrusburg, Koffiefontein, Petrusville, Phillipstown, De Aar to V-West. (Tussen-die-highways...?) Going home from the AG I think that V-West, Kimberley, Warrenton [glow=red,2,300](watch your speed!!) [/glow]Christiana, SchweizeReinecke to Sannieshof is preferred for Monday 30th with the balance being done on Tuesday. At the moment it seems to be only two riders, but I wont be sure until the day...

To everyone going - enjoy. The itinery certainly seems interesting and this promises to be a good meeting. Sadly, myself and Dot will be entertaining family at home - and eating Porra food at Lusitoland!!
